In July 2024, Mary Bland will be retiring from the Faculty of Engineering. Over the past 29 years, Mary has had an immense impact on engineering students. During her career, she has supported hundreds of engineering students through her involvement in running the C&D, EngSoc and other student groups.
To celebrate Mary, and her commitment to Engineering students, we invite you to make a contribution to the Mary Bland Engineering Award, in her honour. The goal is to reach a minimum of $40,000 in order to create an endowment where this award will be given out in perpetuity and leave a lasting legacy for Mary Bland.

*The funds raised will be held until the goal of $40,000, the minimum amount required to open an endowment fund at the University of Waterloo, is achieved. Should the goal not be reached by June 2026, the funds will be used to support annual awards and will be spent over a finite period of time.
