Challenge One - Reach 100 Unique Donors

Co-op and Experiential Education Challenge #1

When 100 unique donors give to the Co-op and Experiential Education Fund, an extra $5,000 will be unlocked!

Co-operative and Experiential Education Fund

Introducing the Co-op and Experiential Education Fund – helping students build a brighter future through hands-on, real-world experiences.

We're on a mission to break down barriers in cooperative education, and we need your support.

Our fund is a game-changer, offering awards, career support and transformative programs that open doors for students from all backgrounds. Here’s a glimpse of how your support helps:

  • Co-op for Community: a program that connects students with under-resourced non-profits, infusing these organizations with fresh talent and awakening students to the pressing needs in communities near and far. It's a win-win for students and the community.
  • WE Accelerate: for students who don’t land a traditional co-op job on their first work term. This program equips them with in-demand skills and valuable industry project experience, ensuring they stay ahead on their career journey.
  • EDGE: for students in regular (non-co-op) programs of study. EDGE provides unique opportunities to develop professional skills, explore career options and learn how to market themselves to employers.
  • Student mental health: we are actively working to create an environment where our students can access the support they need to navigate the stresses of work and study, from engaging workshops to fostering peer-to-peer connections. We acknowledge that there’s still progress to be made, and we are committed to the journey ahead.

Your support is the catalyst that transforms work-integrated learning, levels the playing field and creates a brighter, equitable future.

Join us in making a difference, one student at a time.

“In these challenging times in particular, students and community non-profits need help. We find it gratifying to know that there are young people going out into the community and learning about volunteerism. It’s an investment in the education of students from which we all benefit — not just the student, but also the community.”

Challenge Two - Reach 200 Unique Donors

Co-op and Experiential Education Challenge #2

When 200 unique donors give to the Co-op and Experiential Education Fund, an extra $5,000 will be unlocked!

“We had so much fun last year, and we’re back! We feel fortunate to be able to do this and invite you to join us. This fund lifts students up, empowering them to explore different work opportunities, learn from their experiences, and create positive change wherever they land. Giving Tuesday is a special day when a little bit of giving from everyone comes together to make a huge impact.”
