About UWaterloo Accounting and Finance

The School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) excels in delivering innovative programs that integrate accounting and finance education. We educate professionals through learning across disciplines, creating versatile, adaptive, and confident leaders fluent in business, analytics, sustainability and technology. Our co-op program and experiential learning courses integrate practical experience into the curriculum, preparing students to excel in the professional world.

The International Study Course continues to make a meaningful impact by giving SAF students first-hand exposure to global business practices. In 2025, one of the groups visited Hong Kong, where they exemplified strong leadership by coordinating daily operations to support meetings with industry professionals and helping classmates navigate a fast-paced international environment. Their work ensured seamless travel, organized communication, and thoughtful planning, all of which strengthened the learning experience. The program remains a powerful opportunity for students to build cultural awareness and global business acumen while representing SAF abroad.
