Setting Students Up to Thrive

When students approach their studies with confidence and are surrounded by a like-minded community of peers, they are set up to succeed in both their mental health and academics. That’s why this UWaterloo Giving Day, the Faculty of Science is spearheading a Science Learning Hub initiative.

The Science Learning Hub will be a place for students from every scientific discipline to gather, learn, support each other’s mental health and find their community, while also providing upper-year students with leadership opportunities. It will empower students to succeed and simultaneously build a foundation for our students to thrive.

The Sci of Relief Fund promotes and strengthens student mental health and wellness through programs, education and outreach activities, like the Science Learning Hub, that raise awareness, build community and help students thrive.

Make a gift to the SCI of Relief fund today and help build a culture of care in the Faculty of Science.
