GIVING DAY IS COMING!

UWaterloo Giving Day launches May 15!

It’s a 24-hour campaign in support of teaching, learning and research — and we want YOU to be part of it! You don’t even have to wait to show your support! Starting May 1, your gift can go twice as far. All eligible donations of up to $1,000 will be matched dollar for dollar until matching funds run out, meaning you can DOUBLE your impact in the area that’s most meaningful to you!

And who doesn’t love cookies?

To kick things off, we’re launching a Cookie Campaign on April 15. On this day, stop by participating Food Services locations on campus where 25 cents from the sale of every Giving Day cookie will go to the Waterloo Fund, which supports the most urgent needs of UWaterloo students. For more details, check back on this site and follow us on social media.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
