Tony was a pillar of the University of Waterloo community, serving with distinction and immeasurable dedication in both the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science in the Faculty of Mathematics and the School of Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Arts.
Tony’s dedication to his students, his impactful research, and his collaborative spirit left an indelible mark on all of us. He was more than a colleague; he was a mentor and a friend whose wisdom and kindness will be deeply missed.
Memorial donations, contributed in memory of Tony Wirjanto, are held until such time the family working with the University can determine the best way to honour Tony Wirjanto based on the total contributions received (e.g. new award, existing award, program support, etc.).
