ENCOURAGING AND EMPOWERING OUR BIOLOGY STUDENTS TO MAKE AN IMPACT
Biologists have a critical role to play in preparing us for the impact and consequences of life on our planet. Whether they are studying the complexities of the human brain, the fundamentals of cell structure, the intricacies of plants and their environment or the complex nature of viruses, our students are well-positioned to meet the challenges of the rapid advancement of biology.
With access to world-class instructors and researchers, our undergraduate students are making inroads in biology’s most promising disciplines: genomics, physiology, bioinformatics, ecology and environmental biology, and microbiology. Our co-op students are working in research laboratories and in industry, gaining invaluable work experience that has the potential to resolve the mysteries of life and harness biological information and tools for the good of society.
THEY’RE READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT- NOW WE NEED YOU TO DO THE SAME
Impact Biology was created by generous alumni, faculty, staff and friends to support undergraduate studies in the Department of Biology. Your donation to Impact Biology is critical if we are to reach our $500,000 goal. With your help, we can ensure our students use their creativity and unparalleled skills to advance the human condition today and into the future.
