The Farvolden Lecture Series, hosted by the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of Waterloo, was initiated in 1996 as an annual celebration in honour of Dr. Robert N. Farvolden. This year Professor Clare Robinson will be speaking about exploring the impact of groundwater on surface water quality in the Great Lake Basin at multiple spatial scales.

Clare Robinson is the Canada Research Chair in Water Quality (Tier 2) as well as a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Western University.

Being held in the Theatre of Arts with a reception being held in the Centre for Environmental and Information Technology (EIT) from 3:30PM to 6:00PM.

There will be hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

Paid parking will be available in lot C.
