Event Description

Quantum research will revolutionize our lives. The world is changing around us, and the University of Waterloo is ensuring we are at the forefront of quantum innovation.

QUANTUM: The Exhibition, was initially created by The University of Waterloo’s Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) and is the first-ever travelling show on quantum information science and technology! Originally launched as part of INNOVATION150 – a signature initiative that celebrated Canada’s 150th birthday – the exhibition has travelled to science centres across Canada over the last two and half years.

Join the Singapore alumni chapter and our special guest the High Commissioner of Canada as we explore the exhibit, gain insight and understanding of how quantum information science and technology can impact our everyday lives.

This 4,000 square foot, bilingual exhibition features interactive activities, games and videos to engage visitors of all ages in core quantum concepts from superposition to entanglement and how they’re shaping future technologies.

All ages are welcome, light snacks and refreshment will be provided in a pre-reception.
